I recently retired as a teacher/media specialist on June 9, 2016. I have B.A. & M.S. degrees from The Brooklyn Center of Long Island University (LIU-Brooklyn) and 30 credits post-Master's from Nova Southeastern U. I taught six years in Brooklyn, NY, and 31 years in Deltona, FL. I created a "Film Studies" class while at Pine Ridge HS. In addition I served as English department chair in both middle and high schools and was a media specialist my last six years. My other career experiences were as an air traffic controller for the FAA, restaurant manager at ShowBiz Pizza/Chuck E Cheese, and medic in the Army National Guard,

I was voted "Teacher of the Year" in 1995 at DeLand Middle School and in 2004 at Pine Ridge HS.
